Installing MySQL and Software Support in Windows - Simple Projects with Source Code

Preparation, Download MySQL Source in http://www.mysql.com/downloads/. Have you downloaded the latest version and save it on your computer. Basically, the installation for each version of MySQL is not much different.
MySQL Installation Process
1. Once you get a copy of MySQL, then you need to extract the file to your computer.
2. Run the Setup.exe file in the MySQL source folder. See the picture below!

3. MySQL Setup will extract the installation files of MySQL as shown this follows.

4. The next window will display the MySQL Server 5.0 Setup Wizard for MySQL. Click the Next button to start the installation process.

5. Next will display the option to choose the installation method. Select Typical if we want to install MySQL is commonly used.

6. The next window will display the MySQL configuration information, the type of installation and the installation destination folder. Click Install to begin the installation process.

7. The installation process begins.

8. Further information on the display window of MySQL Enterprise. Click Next to continue.

9. The installation process is complete and will be displayed as shown below. If we want to directly configure the MySQL server (passwords, service etc) then chose the checkbox Configure the MySQL Server now and click Finish.
10. The next window displayed MySQL Server Instance Configuration Wizard. Click Next to continue.
11. Next, there is the option type the desired configuration, the Detailed Configuration or Standard Configuration. Select and click Next to continue.
